Interactive Virtual Estuary Field Trip

As part of National Estuaries Day celebration, EPA and other partners will sponsor Estuary Live!, an interactive field trip of our nation's estuaries. The entire journey takes place over the Internet, so students can participate in the classroom or at home. The trip begins on September 23 and 24. This year's program features seven estuaries from around the country: Rachel Carson site of NC Reserve in North Carolina; Mullica River-Great Bay in New Jersey; Puget Sound in Washington; Peconic Estuary, in Long Island, New York; South Slough, in Oregon; Weeks Bay, in Alabama; and Waquoit Bay in Cape Cod. http://www.estuarylive.org/.
