25th Annual NJ Raritan River Festival

The Raritan River Festival, New Jersey's oldest annual Environmental Celebration, will be held on Sunday, September 19 at Boyd Park in New Brunswick, NJ and Donaldson Park in Highland Park, NJ. For this anniversary year, the theme will be "Saving Superfund", the endangered Federal program for cleaning up health-threatening toxic sites. Special Guest will be former Governor Jim Florio, who sponsored the original Superfund legislation while serving in the US Congress. The festival will feature educational events, art exhibits, musical performances, family fun activities and the Great Rubber Duck Race to benefit Children's Cancer Research, concluding with a concert by NRBQ and a gala fireworks display.. http://www.raritanriverfest.com/.
