PA Outdoor Lighting Awareness The Pennsylvania Outdoor Lighting Council (POLC) is joining forces with three area astronomy clubs for an evening of astronomy and light pollution awareness. The “Star Party” will be held at 7 p.m., Friday, May 7 at Warwick County Park in Chester County. A rain/cloud date is set for Saturday, May 8. The evening will include a lecture on saving money with efficient lighting. After dark, attendees will observe the sky using astronomy club telescopes. Warwick County Park is located on County Park Road, just off of Rt.23, three and one half miles west of Rt.100. The Chester County Parks & Recreation Commission will collect a $5 per vehicle parking fee to defray the cost of supporting this event.
