Pond Management Workshop

A Pond Management Workshop, sponsored by West Chester University, will be held on Saturday May 22, 2004, from 8:30-3:00 at the Schmucker Science Center, West Chester University, West Chester, PA. The workshop is designed for homeowner associations, agricultural landowners, private homeowners, and environmental professionals interested in pond management and restoration. Jason Smith of F. X. Browne, Inc. will be presenting a session on pond dredging. Other topics include pond ecology, aquatic weed management, aeration, water quality monitoring, wildlife habitat, and management planning.
