Buffer Restoration Plant Give-Away The Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF) is offering plants at no cost to non-profit groups for stream buffer and wetland restoration in the bay watershed in Pennsylvania. The give-away plants are premium plants grown by Octoraro Native Plant Nursery and are containerized seedlings in 3”x3”x9” pots, 25 pots per flat. Recipients agree to provide CBF with site information on where plants are used and are required to return a completed DEP Stream ReLeaf form for each project where give-away plants are used. Requests must be for whole flats of 25 plants, one species per flat, with a minimum request of eight flats (200 plant minimum order). Plants will be available on a first-come basis for confirmed orders. Pickup times are 11 a.m.–1 p.m., Saturday, March 27; 1 p.m.–3 p.m., Friday, April 16 and Saturday, April 24; and 11 a.m.–1 p.m., Friday, May 7.
