PA Water Resources Education Project Grants

Through its Water Resources Education Network (WREN) Project, the League of Women Voters of Pennsylvania Citizen Education Fund (LWVPA-CEF) will fund community projects sponsored by local partnerships that educate, build awareness, and promote water-sustaining public policies and/or behavior change that will result in protection or improvement local water resources. Funding will be awarded in two tracks: source water protection projects and watershed protection projects. Eligible applicants include partnerships of local or regional organizations such as public drinking water suppliers, local governments (counties, municipal authorities, and municipalities), watershed groups, civic groups, and other public interest organizations. All partners must play an active role in the project. Each award will be up to $5,000. Applications must be postmarked (if mailed) or received (if hand delivered) by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 2, 2004.
