NJ Coldwater Conservation Forum

The Pequannock River Coalition announces their second Coldwater Conservation Forum on Monday, March 22, 2004, from 6:30PM - 9:30PM at the Kinnelon Public Library in Kinnelon, NJ. The forum will focus on the challenge of preserving coldwater fisheries resources in New Jersey. It will include round-table discussions on a broad range of topics, from state policy and regulation to recreational use to waterway flows, water quality and land use issues. Another topic will be the Coldwater Fisheries Management Plan recently released by the NJ Division of Fish and Wildlife. The forum is open to the general public as well as State agencies, watershed associations and interested conservation groups. Registration is required since space is limited, with a $5 per-person registration fee (payable at the forum) to cover costs. You may sign up via email to staff@pequannockriver.org, or by phone at 973-492-3212.
