Burlington County Stormwater Forum

The third annual Burlington County Stormwater Forum will be held on May 4th. The forum, coordinated by the Burlington County Board of Chosen Freeholders, will focus specifically on the challenge of regional stormwater management, but will also provide information on innovative design and management concepts.  Regional leaders in the field will be featured, including Dr. Frank Browne of F. X. Browne, Inc. Speakers will present the latest information and technologies addressing stormwater utility authority development and regional stormwater management planning and design. Engineers, planners, municipal and other government personnel, stormwater managers, natural resource professionals, contractors, and developers are invited to this timely conference to learn about innovative approaches to effective stormwater management in our region. Special attention will be given to the New Jersey Pollution Discharge Elimination System (N.J.P.D.E.S.) Phase II stormwater regulations and the challenges that municipalities face in meeting them. Funding and management through stormwater utilities, simplifying the permitting process, and implementing best management practices to meet the requirements are all topics that will be elucidated.  Exhibitors offering stormwater information and services will be on hand, and presentation of the annual Burlington County Stormwater Management Award will take place.
