Interactive Conference for New Jersey Educators The Watershed Partnership for New Jersey and the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection invite you to the first annual two-day interactive conference for educators on June 29 and 30, 2004 at the EcoComplex, Bordentown, NJ. Conference sessions will explore New Jersey’s dynamic watersheds and connect educators with regional resources, curriculum materials and more. In addition to receiving professional development credits, participants will also receive many of the guidebooks and curriculum at a discount. Workshop topics include: Healthy Water, Healthy People Curriculum Guide and Testing Kit Manual, New Jersey WATERS (A Watershed Approach to Teaching Ecology of Regional Systems), Regional Curriculum Samplers, and Ideas and Strategies for Student Watershed Action Projects. Participants can select one field trip that will feature either canoeing, boating, volunteer monitoring, storm drain labeling and stream cleanups.
