National Species Recovery Fund Grants

The National Wildlife Federation's (NWF) Species Recovery Fund seeks to encourage habitat restorations, species reintroductions, private land conservation activities, and other creative endeavors that directly improve conditions for species listed under the Endangered Species Act. Applicants are invited from any organization, agency, tribe, university, or individual working to improve on-the-ground conditions for imperiled species, with a preference for local grassroots organizations. Grant awards will range from $3,000 to $7,000. The deadline for submission is February 16, 2004.
