Chesapeake Bay Program Grants The Chesapeake Bay Program plans to award a number of assistance agreements for the purpose of protecting and restoring the Chesapeake Bay’s ecosystem. Projects may include information distribution, public outreach, specific investigations or technical studies, activities that maintain Chesapeake Bay Program operations, testing of improvements of treatment facilities, and monitoring and habitat restoration projects. Approximately $790,000 in funding is available. Nonprofit organizations, state or local government agencies, interstate agencies, and colleges or universities are eligible to apply.
