EPA Targeted Watersheds Grants Program

US EPA is accepting proposals under the Targeted Watersheds Grant Program, a

competitive grant program designed to support the protection and restoration

of the country's water resources through a holistic watershed approach to

water quality management. Projects must be nominated by a governor or tribal leader. Of the $18 million available in FY2005,  $10 million will be directed to nationwide projects for improving water quality and $8 million will be directed toward projects in the Chesapeake Bay watershed.
