Stormwater Assessment F. X. Browne, Inc. performed a stormwater assessment for Westfall Township, regarding a 2,600 linear foot section of an unnamed tributary to the Delaware River, which frequently floods bordering residences. F. X. Browne, Inc. surveyed the study reach and existing structures including bridges, culverts, and ponds and modeled the existing conditions using Hydraflow and HEC-RAS. F. X. Browne, Inc. determined the current conveyance capacity of the existing hydraulic structures and identified those which were constricting flow during different design storm sizes. F. X. Browne, Inc. developed design plans and necessary permits for the replacement of one of the culverts and a remedial plan to alleviate the flooding problems in this section of the Township. |
