F. X. Browne, Inc. prepared the Planning Module and Socio-Economic Justification for the municipal wastewater treatment facility in Coolbaugh Township. We designed a 50,000 gpd Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) treatment plant. This treatment plant was designed to completely avoid impacts to wetlands and required no wetland permitting. We prepared a design for a water distribution and sewer collection system for the Village of Tobyhanna.
F. X. Browne, Inc. prepared the Coolbaugh Township Wastewater Management Plan which provided a comprehensive management plan for on-lot systems, private wastewater collection and treatment systems, and a municipal sewerage system. It was the first plan in Monroe County to include Geographical Information System (GIS) computer-generated maps of soils, slopes, erosion potential, on-site suitability and other land use characteristics.
